Homework Interview Someone Who Remembers the Kennedy Assassination
In this assignment your task is to essentially be a historian. The person should be at least 60 years old. Always thank the interviewee for his or her time as you finish. 1. Come up with three interview questions. Such as, Do you remember where you were on November 22, 1963 when President Kennedy was assassinated? How did this affect you and your surroundings? How did you witness others reacting? What was the mood of the country? 2. Record your questions and answers (typing is recommended). You should spent at least 15 minutes speaking with the adult about their experience. Take notes and ask follow up questions. 3. Reflect: Write a one - two paragraph summary about your experience. What did you learn? Did anything surprise you? Was this a valuable experience? |
